League of Women Voters will hold a candidate ‘meet and greet’ on Sept. 26
Published on 9/8/2023
The League of Women Voters of Pike County will hold its first public, in-person candidate “meet and greet” since the COVID lockdown on Tuesday, Sept, 26, beginning at 7 p.m., at the Blooming Grove Firehall on PA Route 739 in Lords Valley.
Pike County registered voters are invited to interact in a roundtable format with candidates in the County Commissioner race and School Director in the Delaware Valley School District. Members of the local press will also be in attendance.
The League of Women Voters of Pike is focusing on the commissioner race because its final outcome has not yet been determined, as opposed to races where only one candidate will appear on the ballot.
The Delaware Valley School Disrict is the only school district wholly contained within Pike County, and its final outcome has still yet to be determined.
